Sendai 3/11 Memorial Community Center
A memorial facility for reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake was opened inside Arai Station on the Sendai Subway Tozai line. There are exhibits regarding damage from the disaster, the state of reconstruction, and the appeal of eastern Sendai, as well as workshops and other activities that keep the memory of the disaster alive for future generations.
