Morioka Handi-Works Square
In this facility inspired by the concept of "seeing, touching and creating," Morioka's traditional techniques, such as handicraft, folk craft, and food etc. are gathered together. There is a handicraft workshop zone with 15 workshops, as well as an exhibition sale of over 4000 types of local produce. The handicraft workshops are especially popular, and you can see the artisans' traditional techniques close up, as well as creating your own original product while learning directly from them.
